What is Serfuntin?

Hello there!

This is the very first piece of writing ever done for Serfuntin. It will be a description of what Serfuntin will be all about.

Let's start with the name: Serfuntin is a name put together by a few words.

Ser stands for serious. This site should be a place where anything and everyting can be discussed. There will be an entire section where serious debate and discussion will take place, where individuals with opinions can talk about what they want. This is not the place the place to be cutesies or trolls. We're saving that for the next section.

Fun stands for fun. Simple as that. This is where we talk about fun things, silly things, trolly things, and anything else one would associate with the word fun. It could be anything from jokes to sports. Memes to dreams. Anything that is funny to someone belongs here. This is where stuff that is "haha-funny"is supposed to be. The things that are more like "hmmm.... that's funny" belongs in the next section.

Tin stands for think. I know, I removed the h. I did this only because I thought Serfuntin sounded better than Serfunthin. Just a case of personal taste on that one, but I think I will stick to it. This section is meant for the things that make you think. Things that tickles your curiosity, and makes your mind drift on towards other thoughts. It doesn't matter if it's only interesting for one, some, or all. If someone finds it interesting then this is where it belongs. That is what you will find here.

My hope is that Serfuntin can be a place where information on almost anything can be gathered and shared. I hope it will be a website that can be serious, fun, and thoughtful, all at the same time.
